The Spacious Vision Song Project presented a pair of concerts around the themes of remembrance and compassion as part of observances of World AIDS Day 2013 in Long Beach and Glendale, CA. Selections from the AIDS Quilt Songbook stood at the center of each concert. The programs also included selections by Leonard Bernstein, Benjamin Britten, Aaron Copland, Carlisle Floyd, Richard Hundley, and others.
The roster of acclaimed performers for these concerts included baritone John Seesholtz, tenor Gerald Seminatore, and pianist Christopher Reed, joined by actress Diana Burbano and cellist Sean Fischer for a program of poetry, song, and remembrance.
